Your Unique Protocol
Following the intake and assessment process, I develop a unique and customized protocol specific to you, your health, and your life. This includes recommendations for your diet (which is not just the foods you eat, but also when and how you eat), professional-grade supplements, and lifestyle strategies that may include exercise, stress management, and more.

Assessment
Our work together begins with an in-depth process that looks at your health goals, current challenges, health history, diet, stress, exercise, and other family and lifestyle factors. When necessary, we may also procure selected health labs that look at digestive factors, nutrient levels, genetics, and/or hormones.

Implement. Adjust. Evaluate.
Throughout the implementation of your protocol, we will work closely together to ensure you’re getting best results possible. With weekly check-ins, food & symptom journaling, and 1:1 consultations, I will make tweaks and adjustments to support your needs. We will evaluate and reassess at various points, moving into new phases or protocols as necessary to address all aspects of your health.

A few years ago I had my gallbladder removed and afterward I started having one issue after another. The most inconvenient problems for me were trouble sleeping, poor digestion, and the most noticeable was allergic reaction that only seemed to happen at night. My hormones were out of balance. Can you imagine every single night around 8pm, breaking out in hives and itching uncontrollably? I can and I’m so happy I don’t suffer from those symptoms anymore- thanks to Rebekah! My approach is unique in the way that I look at the big picture in an effort to understand what’s at the root, then working from there to address your health in a way that is sustainable and practical in your life.

If the word “holistic” has you envisioning practices that seem a little far-fetched and woo-woo, let me put your mind at ease! “Holistic” simply means “whole”, and holistic nutrition is the practice of approaching your health as a whole and fully-integrated system rather than merely a sum of various parts.
Holistic nutrition is a highly-scientific, clinical, and evidence-based philosophy that looks the complex interconnection of all systems in your physical body, your biochemical individuality, your emotional, mental, and spiritual states, and various lifestyle and environmental factors. It utilizes nutrition as a primary tool in your health recovery process, and it works in cooperation and conjunction with other modalities and health practices.

I strive to make my clients feel comfortable and confident with their recommendations and protocols. As with anything, there is often a learning curve and adjustment period, but I work with you to make that feel manageable in the midst of your life.
Typically, I do not agree with extreme diets and many of the all-or-nothing recommendations that have become overwhelmingly popular in the online health world. Instead, I aim to get the most positive impact on your health with the least amount of change to your life.

Hopefully no, but depending on the foods you love and what is going on with your health, it is a possibility. However, don’t let that scare you!
Many of my clients have put off working with me because of a fear of losing foods they love to eat. If you do need to temporarily or permanently stop eating certain foods, we’ll work to help you find safe and healthy alternatives and substitutions.
In the end, most people who have to give up foods find they don’t miss them nearly as much as they expected to and they feel so much better that it’s worth it. My hope is that you discover so many new foods and recipes that you not only don’t miss the food, you actually love your new food even more.
